At The Miami Times, we maintain a vigilant watch for individuals who are driven to effect positive change in their communities. Each year, we carefully select and spotlight exceptional members of our community who have dedicated themselves to enhancing the quality of life for others or rectifying injustices. These remarkable individuals draw inspiration from the legacies of figures such as the late Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and other prominent Black History Makers, and we proudly share their stories with our readers.Our special feature, 'Generation of Dreamers,' is dedicated to celebrating the accomplishments of these community leaders who often work tirelessly with limited resources. They are relentless in their pursuit of innovative solutions to pressing issues, all while serving as a source of inspiration for those around them. Often, their endeavors go unnoticed by the broader community, highlighting the genuine selflessness behind their endeavors. We firmly believe that exemplary examples of Black History Makers reside, labor, and thrive within our very own neighborhoods.
